Today we share with you Bryssa’s XV images. This event was full of surprises, and we loved every part of the celebration. The Church took place at San Juan, Tx. and the Reception was at the gorgeous Marbel Event Center in Edinburg, Texas. Bryssa had no idea that Neto Bernal, one of her favorite singers would be performing for her. That was a big surprise that her parents kept secret until the day of the party. It was an incredible part of the night and definitely a day to remember for a lifetime!

Hoy compartimos con ustedes las imágenes del hermoso XV de Bryssa. Este evento estuvo lleno de sorpresas, y nos encantó cada parte de toda la celebración. La misa religiosa tuvo lugar en San Juan, Tx. Y la recepción fue en el precioso Marbel Event Center en Edinburg, Texas. Bryssa no tenía ni idea de que Neto Bernal, uno de sus cantantes favoritos estaría cantando para ella como una gran sorpresa planeada por sus padres. Fue una parte increíble de la noche y sin duda un día para recordar para toda la vida!

Natalie XV – Quinceanera Celebration

Natalie’s XV Celebration was pure fun! This XV Celebration was one of a kind; vivid colors decorated the venue La Cantera in Mission, Texas to create the perfect theme for this lovely quinceanera. The music was exceptional thanks to DJ Show, and Natalie had some surprise dances for all her family and friends with Origin X Dancers.

Our job as a photographers is to capture all the real moments; those candid smiles when you are not looking at the camera, the hug that a grandmother is giving to her granddaughter while they are dancing, the laughs between friends when they remember good old times through a slideshow, all the love that surrounds a magnificent event like this one. At Lilak Photography we want you to enjoy your day having amazing photos to remember it for the years to come.

La celebración de XV de Natalie fue pura diversión! Esta celebración fue única; Colores vivos decoraron el hermoso lugar de La Cantera en Mission, Texas para crear el tema perfecto para esta encantadora quinceañera. La música fue excepcional gracias a DJ Show, y Natalie tuvo algunos bailes sorpresas para toda su familia y amigos con Origin X Dancers.

McAllen Texas Wedding – Cristela & Fabian

Cristela & Fabian’s wedding was full of emotion. We had some time before the ceremony to make a first look for the bride and groom at Villa de Palmas, at San Juan, Texas. And it was so much fun to do! Fabian was kind of nervous waiting the moment to turn around and see Cristela with her beautiful and elegant wedding dress. They both were smiling and they sealed the moment with a warm hug… the big day was finally here.

After the photo session, we headed D’Gala Special Events in McAllen, Texas for a small ceremony with family, friends, and the bridal party. All flowers were absolutely elegant in white and ivory tones. D’Gala was also the place where the reception took place. One of my favorite moments of all night is the first song as a husband and wife, and the special dance with the parents because in these particular moments, you can feel all the love around. I’m taking photographs and I am constantly smiling because the moments are so real, the tears are wonderful evidence that there is a lot of emotions going on in that particular song, in that particular moment. When a mother dances that special song with her son, when she realizes that he is no longer a baby, he is a grown men and now he is the head of a new family.

Cristela & Fabian, you truly are a wonderful (and pretty good looking) couple :). I had a lof of fun during your engagement session, and also during your wedding day. Thank you so much for choosing Lilak Photography to keep your memories!

Mission Texas Wedding – Carolina & Noe

And after a long wait, the big day was finally here for these two. This wedding was full of beautiful details, from the wedding cake, to the favor gifts. Red was the color that Carolina & Noe picked for harmonizing all the ceremony and the reception hall. The bridesmaids were wearing beautiful and vibrant red dresses. Carolina was gorgeous, her princess style wedding gown was absolutely elegant. And there is something extra special when a groom wears his marine suit to the wedding, it is an honor to be part of weddings like this one.

The ceremony took place at San Martin de Porres Church in Alton, Texas. Then we had some awesome time during the photos with the wedding party, all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen were really fun to work with. And finally, we arrive to the reception venue at Mission Texas. Where Mariachi Mariposas arrived to start playing some music during dinner time. Reception was a lot of fun, too. The decoration was elegant and classic with red touches and marine theme inspired decor. They were so unique! We loved it!!!

Congratulations for both of you Carolina & Noe! We wish you the best today and always! And thank you again for the trust you have in our work. Carolina & Noe – Engagement Session

Hidalgo Pump House was the place that Carolina & Noe chose for their engagement photo session. It’s a big place, with lots of green areas and some unique spots. We had to plan this photo shoot with a lot of time, because Noe leaved the city for service, and he returned just a few days before the wedding.

I love to take photographs of people that is deeply in love, there is something special in their eyes and in the way they smile to each other that is just magical. I know these two will be super happy together. Carolina is a sweet girl, with a pretty smile and her red dress was just perfect match to the blue suit of her fiancee. And Noe is her perfect complement, he was wearing his marine suit. Here are some of my favorite photos of their lovely engagement session at Hidalgo, Texas. Hope you enjoy these images!

Brownsville Texas Wedding – Keila & Elvin

Where should I start? Let’s start saying that Keila & Elvin are perfect for each other. How do we know that? Very easy! Just look these photographs and you will know it, too. This couple lived to the fullest this magical day, we saw big smiles all the time on their faces. This was a beautiful winter wedding at Brownsville, Texas. It is an awesome feeling to be behind the lens and be witness of so much emotion, details, tears, laughs, hugs,… at the end is Love in different forms. The thing we love the most about this wedding is the happiness of both of them, they were truly enjoying every single moment of their ceremony and reception.

Getting ready was awesome, there was a lot of emotion in the rooms (the bride’s room and also the groom’s room). Purple and lavender were the colors that inspired this wedding. The flower bouquet was quite unique, with a perfect harmony and lovely tones. The wedding dress was absolutely stunning. Keila looked fabulous in her elegant wedding dress, everything was perfect.

In this wedding, we had a really cold weather, it was practically freezing outside. We went to the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley UTRGV in Brownsville to take some bride and groom portraits, and then we went indoors for the rest of the photo session. The reception took place at the Brownsville Museum of Fine Arts, it was an intimate reception with close family and friends. We loved the cake and all the details inspired into the winter wedding theme. There were some fun games and fun moments that Keila & Elvin shared with their special ones. And we can say, we enjoy all the happiness, and we wish you guys the best in your marriage! Enjoy these beautiful photos!
